Amelia Carroll was born in Sydney, Australia in 1993. She graduated from The National Art School in 2016 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, majoring in painting. Finding her inspiration in nature, Amelia aims to create an atmospheric presence through her blurred expansive landscapes. Each painting is created from photographs taken during her travels to different locations around the world.

In her final year at NAS, she gained representation by Sydney gallery, Liverpool
St Gallery in Darlinghurst, where she has held annual exhibitions. In 2022 she exhibited at Scott Livesey Galleries, Melbourne.
Amelia has been a finalist in numerous art prizes around the country including the Hadley Art Prize, Mosman Art Prize and the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship in 2019, 2020 and 2022. She was awarded the Kedumba Drawing Award in 2020 and was acquired by the collection.
